Sarabanda is a dynamic London-based Cuban collective that ignites dance floors with authentic son cubano and sizzling salsa rhythms. Led by accomplished pianist Sara McGuinness, this powerhouse ensemble brings together some of the UK’s most passionate and skilled Latin musicians.

At its core, Sarabanda features the mesmerizing vocals of Elpidio Caicedo, backed by Jimmy Martinez’s pulsating bass lines, Sara McGuinness’s masterful piano, and the intricate percussion work of Alejandro Martinez, Emeris Solis, and Bill Bland. When expanded, the collective welcomes the brilliant brass section of Shanti Jayasinha (trumpet) and Landy Diaz (trombone), creating an unstoppable wall of sound.

From classic 1940s son (popularized by Buena Vista Social Club) to contemporary timba and salsa, Sarabanda’s repertoire spans generations of Cuban musical tradition.
