Sat 9th August Hidden Beach LMHR (Main Fest)

The Oval, Hastings comes alive on August 9th, 2025, from 11am to 9pm, as Hidden Beach presents a spectacular celebration of global sounds, community spirit, and positive energy at the Love Music Hate Racism Festival.

The Beat Goes On: A Heritage of Harmony

For over two decades, Love Music Hate Racism has been bringing communities together through the universal language of music. Born from the legendary Rock Against Racism concerts of the late 1970s, which saw artists like The Clash, Steel Pulse, and Tom Robinson uniting audiences through music, LMHR continues this proud tradition of celebration through sound. These events have created magical moments where barriers dissolve and strangers become friends on dance floors across the UK.

The power of music to unite people is at the heart of everything we do. When the bass drops, when the melody soars, when voices join in harmony – that’s when we see how music transcends all differences, creating connections that last long after the last note fades. From basement clubs to major festivals, LMHR events have proven time and again that our shared love of music creates bonds stronger than anything that divides us.
