A weekend of the most amazing live music, DJs, Workshops and lots more...
Hidden Beach - Love Music Hate Racism Festival 2025 ignites Hastings with three explosive days of unity and celebration. This groundbreaking festival brings together the power of music, community spirit and inclusivity from August 8-10.
The festival launches Friday night with Love Disco (8pm-2am) - a pulsating two-floor celebration of disco culture where local selectors take over the ground floor while guest DJs light up the upstairs with classic disco and beyond.
Saturday explodes into life at The Oval (11am-9pm) with a powerful celebration of diversity through music. Experience an electrifying line-up of live bands and DJs uniting against racism, as multiple generations come together under a groove to prove that music truly breaks down barriers. Throughout the main festival, immerse yourself in workshops including African drumming and more. The wellness zone offers a fantastic set of activities including yoga and meditation sessions, while the children's zone provides creative activities including art therapy and music workshops.
As darkness descends, Horntye Park (9pm-2am) vibrates with the unmistakable power of Aba Shanti-I, one of the UK's most respected and influential sound systems, bringing their legendary roots, dub and culture to Hastings for a special evening session.
The night continues as Poetic Funk takes over (10pm-3am), delivering an intoxicating blend of funk, soul, jazz, and Afro-Brazilika rhythms, peppered with carefully curated rare grooves that will keep the vibe flowing.
Sunday winds down perfectly at Bottle Alley by the beach (2pm-8pm) with our Acoustic Unplugged sessions, where talented musicians strip back their sounds to create an intimate closing to the festival, showcasing the raw power of live acoustic performance.
Join us for this celebration of unity through music.
